How To Pay Tutorial
Wondering how to pay with Bitcoin?
We have created this tutorial for cryptocurrency beginners!
1. Downloading a Digital Wallet
To start, you need a digital wallet. We recommend Electrum due to its strong focus on privacy, security, and user convenience. You can also use more familiar applications, like CashApp, PayPal, and Venmo to buy, send and receive Bitcoin. (For assistance with setup and usage, see the “Bitcoin Payment Video Tutorials” section below).
2. Exchanging Currency for Bitcoin
Once your wallet is set up, you can exchange your local currency for Bitcoin within the application. This will enable you to begin sending and receiving Bitcoin payments.
3. Understanding Fees and Network Traffic
1. Network Traffic: Bitcoin transactions are processed on a decentralized network. During times of high network activity, transaction fees may increase. To avoid higher costs, consider making your payments during off-peak hours.
2. Wallet Fees: Fees vary between wallets. Services like CashApp, PayPal, and Venmo often have higher fees compared to dedicated wallets such as Electrum.
4. Placing Your Order
1. After clicking “Place Order” at checkout, a QR code will appear with the Bitcoin address and the amount due.
2a. On a Computer: Use your phone’s wallet app to scan the QR code, which will automatically input the address and amount. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the details manually.
2b. On a Mobile Device: Manually copy and paste the Bitcoin address and amount into your wallet.
Note: Your wallet application of choice will have its own fees to send Bitcoin. Be sure to send the correct total to PurePharma.ph, in addition to paying your own wallet fees.
5. Payment and Confirmation
Once the payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email. Be aware, depending on network traffic and your wallet, it may take up to 48 hours for the transaction to complete.
